Ty Schraufnagel

Board President

Ty Schraufnagel is a local small business owner and serves as the President of the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce. He is also the Chief Financial Officer for the Youth Leader Summit. As a former college athlete with a passion for sports, youth, and service, Ty has been very excited about Paladin Sports Outreach and what it brings to families in the area. With an amazing wife and two growing boys, Paladin Sports Outreach has been a perfect place to lay roots for his family and get very involved in the community. Ty feels very blessed to have the opportunity to serve through Paladin Sports Outreach and is very excited to see where God takes the organization.

 

Kelly Anderson

Secretary

Kelly Anderson, an educator with over 13 years of classroom and coaching experience, is dedicated to celebrating youth and adults alike. With a heart for service, promoting community involvement and friendly competition, the vision of Paladin is a perfect match. As a mother of three teenage boys of her own, Kelly is a firm believer that through involvement in extracurricular activities, and the lessons that naturally come through that participation, the whole child is developed.

 

Matt Rhoton

Member / Technology Coordinator

Matt Rhoton is a Director for the University Technology Office at Arizona State University. Growing up in Indiana, Matt was a high school athlete where he participated in cross country, basketball, and baseball while a member of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). He and his amazing wife moved to the San Tan Valley area 8 years ago to raise their 3 beautiful children. As a coach and board member for Paladin Sports, Matt is blessed to serve Him and the community using the medium of sports to introduce, encourage and empower youth to make a difference for Christ.

 

Marcus Thrall

Member

Marcus Thrall along with his wife and daughter have lived in the San Tan Valley area for 7 years.  He is a Service Engineer for a worldwide machine tool manufacturer.  He was raised in small town in Missouri where he played soccer and baseball.  A lifelong love of sports continues today as he plays and coaches.  His goal is to instill a love of sports, a sense of achievement and a positive self image in our youth.  Paladin gives him the ability to do just that while demonstrating the grace of God.

 

Brett Nauta

Member

Brett Nauta is a Physical Education teacher and coach that has a passion for providing children of all ages the opportunity to achieve their own level of success through sports.  He is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and moved out to Arizona three years ago where he met his beautiful wife whom he married in August of 2014.  When Brett was first introduced to Paladin Sports Outreach at the 2014 Gala, he was excited to hear that his two passions (God and sports) were combined in a youth sports organization.  Joining Paladin is an absolute blessing and Brett is looking forward to showing the youth sports world that…. All Of Life Is All For Jesus!

 

Mindy Dalmacio

Mindy is a proud wife to her amazing husband Josh and a mother of 3 wonderful children, Derek, Kamryn and Dash. They are small business owners along with her husband’s brother and wife and have a passion for God, family and sports.  They truly believe in the children of this world and make it a mission to love and cherish them the way God intends us to. For Mindy being able to coach, teach and love through sports has been the ultimate link to broaden the horizons and reach throughout the community.

 

Blake Wilsford

Executive Director

Blake Wilsford is a loving husband to his beautiful wife Lindsay and a dedicated father to his three boys, Ryan, Kenny and Easton. He and his family enjoy playing sports, swimming, going to the movies and reading together. He is currently the Family Pastor at LifePoint Church in San Tan Valley where he and his family have lived for 13 years.  Blake’s love for sports began early on in his life at the age of 5 and by the age of 14 learned his true passion was baseball. He started all 4 years on his high school varsity baseball team earning the honors of All-District, All-State and USA Today All American his senior season in 1997 as well as being drafted by the New York Yankees that same year. Blake decided to head to college where his first two years he was the starting shortstop for Volunteer State. Earning All-Conference honors he helped lead his team to a #1 national ranking and an appearance in the 1999 Junior College World Series. He then finished his career at Union University, earning All-Conference honors his junior and senior seasons. As a believer in Jesus Christ, Blake is excited to serve his community as the Executive Director of Paladin Sports Outreach.

 

Shawn McDermott

San Tan Valley Programs Coordinator
Shawn McDermott and his beautiful wife, Ingrid, have three wonderful children.  Shawn is a KPS (Karcher Production System) Agent / Materials Coordinator for Karcher North America in Chandler.  He and Ingrid were baptized together on March 16, 2014; shortly after the Lord called them to start No Worries Ministries which strives to help those less fortunate in our community through love and compassion.  Shawn has a passion to serve and bring youth to know Christ; he is actively involved with The Revolution at LifePoint, a youth group for junior / high school kids.  He is excited at the opportunity to lead youth and families to Christ through Paladin Sports Outreach.

 

Mary Kepler

Administrative Assistant

Mary is a busy mom of 3 fun loving children Rachel, Megan and Dylan. Along with her husband Kris, they have lived in San Tan Valley for 8 years and have enjoyed watching it evolve. Mary also works at Banner Ironwood as a newborn hearing screener and loves every minute of it.  After moving to Arizona from New York 15 yrs ago, Mary decided to get baptized and dedicate her life to Christ and hasn’t looked back since. Mary loves being an active part of Paladin Sports Outreach because she is able to use this program as a way to get involved in our growing community through physical activity, positive attitudes and fellowship!
